Aroma & Character
Lung Jing, also known as Dragon Well tea, has a fresh, grassy aroma with a fine astringency that gives it an invigorating freshness. The first infusion reveals light citrus notes and a delicate fruitiness reminiscent of lychee, accompanied by a gentle hint of walnut. The second infusion is very mild and rounds off the taste experience with a gentle softness that harmoniously balances the earthy and nutty nuances. An elegant green tea with a fresh and slightly nutty character.

Origin
This Lung Jing comes from the province of Zhejiang in China, the traditional home of Dragon Well tea. The tea gardens are located in a region with rolling hills and a mild, humid climate – ideal conditions for developing the fine freshness and nuttiness of Lung Jing. The mineral-rich soils and the experience of the local tea farmers give this tea its unique depth and complexity.
Specialities
Lung Jing is one of the best-known and most prized green teas in China. Its high status is not only due to the quality of the leaf, but also to the elaborate production process: the tea leaves are roasted flat in pans, which enhances the fine nutty aromas and retains a slight astringency. The tea is plucked from the young leaves in spring and carefully processed by hand to preserve its grassy freshness and delicate citrus notes. Lung Jing is ideal for anyone who appreciates the classic, unadulterated taste of a high-quality green tea.
