Aroma & Character

Ya Bao Wild Tea Buds offer a fascinating taste experience that accompanies you through up to 11 infusions. The first infusion surprises with a mild, long-lasting sweetness that is gently reminiscent of melon, combined with floral and grassy notes. With each subsequent infusion, the aroma unfolds even more intensely: a velvety citrus note with nuances of pine and a soft mouthfeel make the tea a true voyage of discovery. At higher temperatures, the tea gains depth and brings out the pine aroma more strongly. The sweetness and velvety soft mouthfeel remain consistent across all infusions. Even at very high temperatures and long infusion times, the tea cannot become bitter. This white tea can also be enjoyed wonderfully cold and is very suitable for cold brews. Simply pour cold water over it and leave it in the fridge overnight. The result is a very refreshing drink.

Grüner Tee Shincha
China Yunnan:

Origin

This tea is grown at an altitude of 1800 meters in the mountains of the Dehong region in Yunnan. The old pu-erh trees grow wild in the untouched nature and produce these young buds. The climate and altitude give Ya Bao tea its unmistakable character.

Specialities

Ya Bao is an exclusive rarity obtained from old, wild-growing pu-erh trees in Yunnan. These young shoots sprout along the branches and are carefully harvested to preserve their unique aroma. Hand-picked at an altitude of 1800 meters, the tea buds develop an astonishing purity and complexity that is difficult to find in other teas. The buds are minimally processed by gently drying them.
