The Mokalbari East tea garden is located in the heart of Assam, a region that is world-famous for its strong black teas. The warm, humid climate and mineral-rich soil ensure that the tea leaves grow particularly intensively and robustly here. Specialities
This Assam is a second flush tea from the renowned Mokalbari East Estate, which has been known for its top teas for almost 100 years. The designation FTGFOP1 (“Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe“) stands for the high leaf quality and indicates the finest, tippy leaves, which give the tea its complex aroma and the richness typical of Assam teas. The wiry, colorfully patterned leaf is a sign of the careful processing that gives the tea its characteristic malty opulence and spiciness.
