Honeybush Tea impresses with its naturally sweet, floral aroma, which is accompanied by light honey notes and a hint of fruit. Compared to Rooibos, Honeybush is softer and sweeter in taste, with a gentle, pleasant aftertaste. It has a fine, warm honey note that is perfect for enjoying hot or cold.
Origin
Honeybush originates from the South African coastal regions, where the plant grows wild in the mountains. The leaves are carefully harvested and fermented, which gives the tea its typical sweetness and characteristic warm coloring.
Specialities
Honeybush Tea is a close relative of Rooibos, is also caffeine-free and rich in antioxidants. It has been appreciated for centuries in South Africa and is considered calming and soothing for body and mind. Its sweet notes make it particularly popular and it contains natural minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Honeybush Tea can be drunk pure or with milk, honey or lemon.
