From 1,99 €100g Sampler - 15g |
Green Elephant is a smooth, fruity Sheng Pu Erh with notes of cooked apple and apricot, inspired by the legendary elephant migration in Yunnan. Ideal for beginners and tea-lovers!
Sheng Pu Erh tea, also known as “raw Pu Erh,” is an incredibly complex tea from Yunnan, China, that develops its aroma and depth through natural fermentation over many years. Unlike Shou Pu Erh, Sheng Pu Erh is not artificially post-fermented but matures slowly, revealing its unique character: Its flavors range from fresh and grassy to complex, astringent, and slightly fruity, depending on age and storage. This tea is known for its vibrant, often slightly astringent note, which becomes smoother and more rounded in older Sheng.
Discover the natural aging of Sheng Pu Erh and be surprised by the evolving nuances of each infusion! Properly stored, Sheng Pu Erh tea can mature for decades and increase in value.
