Aroma & Character
This multi-faceted highland Oolong unfolds a harmonious interplay of roasted notes, mineral nuances and subtle sweetness. Even the dry leaves have a sweet fragrance, while the taste begins with gentle roasted aromas and a hint of wood. In later infusions, tangy citrus notes and subtle hints of cocoa bean emerge, which combine with a lingering, mild sweetness. The tea has a wonderful aftertaste that lingers long after the last sip.

Origin
This Fo Shou Oolong comes from the famous Ali Shan mountains of Taiwan, a region known for its high-quality highland Oolongs with a delicate sweetness and floral character. The combination of cool nights and warm days gives the tea its special depth and elegance.
Specialities
The Fo Shou cultivar used, originally from Fujian, China, is known for its particularly large leaves and unique aroma. The name “Buddha’s Hand” refers to the famous citrus fruit, whose fragrance this tea resembles. The traditional processing and gentle roasting by Master Atong Chen bring out the complexity and fine structure of this oolong.
