Aroma & Character
Green Elephant is an exceptionally accessible Sheng Pu Erh that delights with a gentle sweetness and a fruity aroma of apple sauce and apricot. The very first infusion reveals a multi-layered, soft texture that hardly develops any bitterness, even with longer infusion times. With increasing infusions, a subtle, pleasant bitterness is added, which gives the tea more depth without losing its harmonious balance.

Origin
This tea comes from the Xishuangbanna region of Yunnan, one of the best-known origins for high-quality Pu Erh teas. The subtropical climate and nutrient-rich soils of the region produce a tea with a deep, balanced flavor profile and great ageing potential.
Specialities
This limited edition is a tribute to a remarkable event in Yunnan. In the spring of 2021, 16 wild elephants from the Elephant Valley in Xishuangbanna embarked on an extraordinary trek to the border of Kunming before making their way home. It was the first time a new elephant route had been observed – and in honor of this rare natural phenomenon, this pressed Sheng Pu Erh was created.
