China Fujian:

Origin

Milky Oolong comes from the province of Fujian in China, which offers ideal conditions for high-quality teas due to its cool mountain locations, frequent fog and mineral-rich soil. The experience of the local tea masters and the special processing method characterize the taste of Milky Oolong, which is particularly smooth and aromatic due to the climatic conditions of the region.

Specialities

Milky Oolong is considered one of the most unusual specialties from Fujian province. A high-quality Ti Kuan Yin Oolong is used as the base, which is only lightly oxidized in order to preserve the fresh, green aromas. The production of this tea requires great care in order to achieve the typical creamy, milky taste – a note that is created through targeted craftsmanship and controlled processing. The tea is rolled by hand and only minimally fermented to allow the velvety, milky aroma to develop perfectly. This combination makes Milky Oolong a tea that is becoming increasingly popular and appreciated for its smoothness.
